I hope you all enjoyed yesterday's post with Jeremy from My Fairytale Life!  Today is all about When Destiny Knocks (Book 1 in the Destiny Saga)!  I got an exclusive extra for you plus more ways to enter the awesome giveaway!
Goodreads | Amazon | B&N

16 year old Karlie has had a pretty normal life... But when her Mom dies she is forced to move over 1,000 miles away to live with her Dad. That's when things start getting weird.

She can't explain the earthquakes that nobody else feels, or why she no longer sleeps. But most of all she doesn't know why she trusts Shane so much, even though his Dad wants her dead.

Suddenly, Karlie's normal life is turned upside down and she enters a world she never dreamed could really exist.
and now a scene from chapter 4 in Shane's POV
I stared at Karlie’s lips. Oh, how I wanted to kiss them. If only Leah wouldn’t have interrupted, I would have… It’s probably a good thing she did interrupt. How am I supposed to kill this girl? I am so intrigued by her. She’s not evil like my dad said. She’s not a monster. She’s… wonderful.
“What are you thinking?” I asked her, breaking our moment of silence.
She smiled, and my stomach muscles tightened. How could one smile make me so weak?
                “You first,” she said.
“I’m thinking that you’re far more amazing than I ever could have imagined.” I bravely grabbed her hand. When I did, I felt sparks flying between us once again. I wondered if it would always be this way… I sure hoped it would be.
“So what did Leah mean by she’s been eager to meet me for a while?”
I instantly felt panicked at Karlie’s question. How could I answer it truthfully? How could I say we’ve heard about her our whole life? That I am meant to kill her? The truth was that I couldn’t tell her. So instead, I lied. “I kind of told her about you, after that day we talked in P.E. I told her I met this awesome, beautiful girl that I wanted her to meet.”
Karlie’s face lit up at my words, but I felt instantly guilty. I knew I couldn’t hang out with her anymore, no matter how badly I wanted to.
“It’s getting late. I should probably take you back.”
What I wanted more than anything was to run off with Karlie. But no matter where we went, my father would find us, and we would kill us. Instead, I will face my father. It’s the right thing to do – for Karlie.

Wasn't that awesome?  If you haven't read When Destiny Knocks yet you can get it at Amazon and Barnes & Noble for .99! Such a great deal! You can also enter this super awesome giveaway for your chance to win!
